December Weekends

Any given weekend is usually pretty busy. December takes it to another level, though.  In addition to sports and birthday parties, we throw some holiday shows into the mix.
It's a magical time of year, though.  I just gotta keep reminding myself of that!

The day after Jared's big party, I took Cami and Lila to see Elf the Musical at the Courtyard Theater.

Buddy the Elf was hilarious, and Santa was awesome, too!

It was a really cute show, and even more fun for my girls since they knew many of the dancers.

Lila had Addison and Lauren to hang out with during intermission.

The first half of the show was super cute, but the dancing Santas stole the show in the second half!

These are all dads in our neighborhood whose girls were in Elf as well.  They were so funny!

Elf was a big hit with everyone.  I'm so glad we went.

Since we now have a Daisy in the family, we had our first holiday parade experience.

These girls had perfect parade weather and looked so adorable in their Santa hats.

The next weekend, it was time for another show.
We met lots of our friends for dinner before Scrooge.

Fiona was fantastic in it, although we all preferred the light-hearted Elf to a more somber Scrooge.
The next day, Lila went to her very first Escape Room birthday party for Chloe...

and then straight to watch Memaw sing in her annual Christmas Choir Show at First Baptist Church.  It was their best one yet!  We all loved it and were so impressed.

And to top off the weekend, Cami was the Star Student for the upcoming week, so we got to make this poster before Monday morning.  Yay!  Love a good school project on a Sunday night at 9:00. Not!  But I do love this precious girl, so we did our best to make a good poster.
