Yesterday afternoon Jackson and I went over to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Hays. We took a little dip in the pool and had a really nice evening just enjoying their backyard.

Playtime for all
We had so much fun this past weekend. Jared and I took two other couples up to Lake Texoma and had a total blast. Jackson stayed at our house with my parents and had at least as much fun as we did. Here is my dad crawling through Jackson's tunnel on Friday night!
Jackson also got to spend lots of time with his cousin Madison. She's already two months old! Here they are in front of our house.
Here's Jared doing a little jig to celebrate the awesomeness of his skiing. He did so good!
Alex doing a backflip into the water...also quite impressive!

Happy Father's Day
In the words of my husband, "what a fantastic day." We had such a great time celebrating Father's Day with his dad, my dad and both families. Everyone came over to our house for some hamburgers on the grill and fun in the sun. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. Here's a picture of Jared the day he joined "the Dad club."
Last year on Father's Day--Jackson was 4 months old and just developing his hilarious personality.
Father's Day 2008--my two guys. So adorable it makes my heart melt:)

Jackson had just grabbed some tasty icing right before this picture--guess he likes cookie cake as much as the rest of us!

The Hays boys. Jackson really enjoyed getting to see his two uncles. The night before he "helped" them put together a grill for their dad. Jackson was right in the middle of all of the grill parts, handing them tools and lovin' every minute of it.

We've come a long way, baby
This past Saturday we had our 10 year class reunion. It's so hard to believe that we graduated in 1998! That sounds like it was such a long time ago and yet it doesn't feel that way AT ALL! We had a two part day--the first was a picnic in the park.
Here's Jackson and Judah hanging with the big boys. There was a fun bounce house, different toys and a really big playground, but Jackson was content with his chips and ice!
Ok, so we weren't exactly high school sweethearts, but we both had crushes on each other for a large majority of our school days:) I've known this boy since we were 10 years old. That's 18 whole years! I knew back then (actually, my mom pointed it out first) what a great catch he was going to be some day. I am so thankful that we ended up together. As a former classmate of mine put it, "good call!" I think so, too:)

Hooray for Gym Time!
This past Wednesday was the last day of our Little Gym class for the semester. Family is invited to come see how the kiddos have progressed and so my mom, sister and neice were all there. Jackson had such a great time and really hammed it up for his audience!
Here we are about to go under the parachute--Jackson loves this now, as you can tell by his big ol' smile:)
The Greatness of Sunday
This past Sunday was exactly what Jared and I have dreamed about since we got married. We always envisioned having a great backyard with a pool and being able to spend Sunday afternoons with our friends or family. Jared has been super busy at work for what seems like forever and usually has to work during the weekend. He decided to stay home on Sunday, though, and we were so glad that he did--what a perfect way to spend a beautiful day.
This was Jackson's first time in the water this summer. He was a little unsure at first, but got accustomed to it very quickly.
