Daddy's dream come true
Yesterday afternoon I had a wedding shower to go to, so Jared was on Jackson duty. When I got home, I found both of them upstairs watching the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. It was so cute.
Jackson was sitting on the couch next to his daddy, sharing goldfish, and cheering on the Deacs. I know Jared was just in heaven:)

So cool!
My sister ordered a onesie for Miss Madison and it arrived in the mail today. She wouldn't tell me what the surprise was, and instead insisted that I come over to see it. My curiosity was definitely peaked...
Imagine my excitement when she unveiled this hilarious personalized outfit. It's a little hard to see it in this picture, but it reads "If you think I'm cute, you should see my Aunt Crystal." Awww...how sweet. She ordered it from www.cafepress.com. I checked out their site and found all kinds of cool things. Just wanted to share.

BBQ chips..breakfast of champions
Yes, that's right. My child ate BBQ chips for breakfast this morning. He started out healthy, drinking a nice tall glass of milk. It went downhill from there, though. I gave him a slice of coffee cake. Something that he told me was "yummy" just yesterday. Today he just shook his head no and started throwing it on the floor. Then I made him some french toast...something else he usually scarfs down. No luck with that either.
A few minutes after I had given up, I found him over in the pantry. I figured he'd grab some gold fish or other snack that he normally gets. I was wrong...
Instead, he grabbed a half-eaten bag of BBQ potato chips and started chowing down. Oh well, at least it's calories for his little belly. Goodness knows he burns plenty of them during the day. Last night he ran around for a solid 3 hours! Like Jared said, "that's a marathon!" Yes it is and our child actually has THAT much energy:)

Worker Bee
Jackson is such the little worker bee these days. Give him a broom, swiffer or mop and he will go to town. This work ethic also applies to the outdoors. After breakfast this morning, we went out back to enjoy the nice weather. Jackson ran around for a little bit, but quickly found a tool and went to work.

Go Cowboys!
Cowboys 41, Eagles 37
What a thriller!
We cheered the Cowboys onto victory last night and it was so fun. Tony Romo had the cutest little fan...

Little Goofball
We are LOVING this nice, fall weather! Hooray for 75 degrees! We took Jackson to Firewheel mall last night and really enjoyed strolling around. He had so much fun in the little play area.

Relaxing?
This afternoon Jared asked me to rub his shoulders for a few minutes. Of course, Jackson saw it as an opportunity to "help" me out and jumped in on the action immediately. He literally came running across the room and grabbed onto his daddy's shoulders.

I just must have a little girl one day!
I mean, really, does it get any cuter than this? I love, love, love headbands on little girls and the tutu just completes this precious outfit.
Such a big help
It was time for Madison to have her bottle the other night and Jackson told us that he wanted to give it to her. So we let him:) He really impressed me!

Labor Day Weekend
We spent the holiday weekend in Charleston, South Carolina for the first annual get-together with Jared's college friends. We stayed at a beach house with two other couples and really enjoyed our time there. There were 9 adults, two kids and one more that will make his appearance very soon. Here are some highlights from the weekend.
