Goodbye Little Gym
The Little Gym of Rowlett is moving out to Rockwall, so this is our last week there:( We've been going since Jackson was 10 months old, so I'm kind of sad that it's almost over. Here are some highlights from today:
Too cool for school. Just decided to hang out on the monkey bars while all the other kids were doing the warm-up.

To spike or not to spike
...that is the question. Jackson has a new 'do recently and I wanted to see what y'all thought about it.

Happy Anniversary
Hard to believe, but it's already been 6 years since we got married. We laugh all the time about how young we really were back then. In a way, we kind of grew up together. We went to dinner last night and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had so much fun reminiscing about our younger days! We've been friends for 20 years...that's a lot of memories right there!

A typical day in the life
As if Jackson doesn't already burn enough calories throughout his very busy day, he decided it was time to start working out on the eliptical earlier this week. He got all ready and even had me tie a make-shift headband around his forehead to catch all his sweat.

Swimming with Poppy
Jackson is turning into such a little water-bug these days. For the past few weeks, he's gone over to Memaw and Poppy's house in the afternoon. Whenever Poppy gets home from work, it's time to hop on in that pool.

Jack of all Trades
Jackson is a (little) man of many talents. Last night, not only did he cook us dinner...

Pool Party
Yesterday afternoon we had some friends over for a fun little swim party. All the kiddos did so good in the pool and Jackson loved having more people to entertain. Here's Judah right before we went outside. This kid was ready for the water!

Scaredy Cat Sadie
As most of you know, we are the proud owners of a very neurotic dog. Think Marley and Me and then back it off just a little bit. For real. She is terrified of storms, so it's a good thing that we were home when this random thunderstorm hit today. She always starts off with panting quite heavily.
In order to "help" her out, Tyson tries to lick the tongue that is dangling out of her mouth. Yuck. Jackson usually pets her gently and says "OK, Sadie, just thunder," as he pets her back.
Today he started off by telling her those same things, but then thought it would be really funny if he acted just like Tyson. Now, I don't think he would actually lick her tongue, but who knows! This was close enough for me!

Happy 4th!
We spent a nice, long weekend up at Lake Texoma with our friends and families. We got lots of sun, ate plenty of food and had a great time hanging out. Here's a recap of all the festivities.
Doing All-American activities, like playing baseball with two gloves...
and eating delicious watermelon.
Going for a ride on the boat. He's peeking thru Uncle Scott's sunglasses in this pic and fell asleep right afterwards. Maybe next time he'll actually get to enjoy the ride.
She has to keep up with Jackson, ya know.
