As most of you know, we are the proud owners of a very neurotic dog. Think
Marley and Me and then back it off just a little bit. For real. She is terrified of storms, so it's a good thing that we were home when this random thunderstorm hit today. She always starts off with panting quite heavily.
In order to "help" her out, Tyson tries to lick the tongue that is dangling out of her mouth. Yuck. Jackson usually pets her gently and says "OK, Sadie, just thunder," as he pets her back.
Today he started off by telling her those same things, but then thought it would be really funny if he acted just like Tyson. Now, I don't think he would actually lick her tongue, but who knows! This was close enough for me!
He was thrilled with himself.
