Winter songs, parties, sleepovers and date nights!

A few weeks before Christmas, Madison's Honor Choir did a special performance at Meme's assisted living home.  They did a fantastic job and all of the residents really enjoyed it.  It's so nice to see kids making others happy.

These kids all have such pretty voices!

Lila and Lilly thought so, too.

I have a feeling that Lilly will like anything her big sister does:)

Later on that night, we had Lila's Sting soccer party.  Reese hosted it at her house and the girls were treated to homemade sugar cookies that they got to decorate.

They did an ornament exchange after dinner and each got to take home a cute new ornament for their tree.

Another rare, but special treat is when we get to have our youngest niece for a sleepover.
This little girl makes everyone's mornings a little happier.

We all just adore her!

At the top of the fun list, though, is a date night with our friends.  So many laughs, so much fun.  This time we just weren't ready to say goodbye after dinner, so we went to bar for a few more hours.  Time with your best friends is so valuable!

In the spirit of time with good friends, we had our annual ornament exchange a few days later.  We've been doing this for about 8 years now and I look forward to it every December.  Not only do I get to add a pretty new ornament to our tree, but it's time well spent with some fabulous forever friends.  Love my girls.
