Under the Sea

Sports and Theatre--those are our gigs these days.  And we love it!
After one softball and two baseball games, we drove to Fort Worth to the see The Little Mermaid at the famed Casa Manana Theatre!

All the girls were excited to see a live show.

We even had time to look around the theatre and read about all of the shows that have been there--quite an impressive list of stars who have been on that stage.

We got to our seats a full 10 minutes before showtime.  That has to be a record.

Snacks?  Check.  Ariel's punch?  Check.  It's showtime!

Act 1 was so fantastic.  This little girl wanted her picture "up on that stage," so we settled for the steps right in front.  She can't wait until it's her turn one day.

We even got to meet the cast right after the show was over!  Madison and Lila have a whole new appreciation for what it takes to create an amazing musical.

Of course, Cami turned shy once we got up to the characters, but she loved Flounder, Sebastian and Ariel the most!  I thought Ursula was awesome, too, and Prince Eric wasn't too shabby himself.  Such a great performance!

We ended our night in Fort Worth with dinner in Sundance Square.
If we lived closer, you can bet we'd be there all the time.  It's just a cool place to hang out.
