Our Superstar!

5 baseball games, 1 softball game and 4 more Aladdin shows.  Holy moly.  Our weekend started off with a bang.  The boys went to baseball and the girls headed to softball.  This girl has been doing well with fielding all season, but definitely struggled to connect at the plate.  We knew that once she kept her eye on the ball, good things would happen.  It took 6 games of striking out, but she finally did it!

Guess who went 2 for 2 at the plate, hitting to the third base side?  This girl!
She got her first game ball, too!
It was just the start of a great day.
We arrived at the theater by noon and these villagers got in their costumes for the 2:00 show.
Their starring roles weren't until that night, but they still looked super cute.

During intermission, Lila changed into a back-up Genie dancer, while Kiara put on the Magic Carpet.  They had a good show and then our girls began getting ready for their big night.

By 5:00, Princess Jasmine was ready to wow!

We had the best Iago in our cast, too.  So funny!
The Tiger Cast was getting pumped about their last night.

This girl was ready to impress all of our family and friends who were coming to the show.

And she sure did!  She danced right up front with all of the older girls.

Madison was fabulous again, too!
She impressed the whole room with her first solo.
After intermission, the cutest little Magic Carpet arrived!

Aladdin and Jasmine did so well again and had the audience captivated.
And that's a wrap!  Bravo, cast of Aladdin Kids.  Well done!

Lila had so many fans this night--Lauren, Madi, Malee and Brooklyn all came to support her.
Jenny and Dylan came, too, but in all the chaos, we didn't get a picture.

Belle thanked Lila for being her partner in crime all week.  They were just so perfect together!

Lexi, Maheera, Savannah, Sydney, Lauren and Bella all came to see Madison.  Love these soccer girlies and how they support one another.

Little Bella came to see the girls, as well.  She was in awe of Princess Jasmine.

Maddie had new admirers, and was even asked to sign autographs after the show!

Lila was showered with praise and flowers.

You did it, girls!

Cami saw the show three times and loved every single second of it.

These two can't wait until it's their turn up on that big stage.

All of the Hays family was there to support the girls and were really impressed.

And so was the Raines family!
After the show, we met the Hays crew for a late dinner.  During the meal, Cami invited Uncle Andrew to sit with her at the little table next to ours.  She told him that they were on a date.  Sweetest thing I saw all day!

It's not often that both of the older kids fall asleep in the car, but after the day we had it was easy to see why.  Jackson had left for baseball at 6:30 am that day and played two games.  Lila had left for softball at 8:15 am, played one game and performed in two shows.

Two more baseball games to go and two more performances.  Such a whirlwind weekend!

Hats off to everyone who came to see our stars shine bright, though.
They appreciated it so much, and so did I.
