Well, not really, but that seemed about as likely as a Meme/Papaw Reunion only a few short weeks ago. Hell didn't freeze over either, but that was expected to also happen before my grandparents played nice. Since they got divorced 25ish years ago, we have never had a family gathering with both of them in attendance (with the exception of my wedding). So imagine my delight when I took Cami to visit the other day and saw them chatting away in Meme's living room!

| She still lives in the same house they moved into when my mom was a little girl. It was so fun hearing them talk about all of their old friends in the neighborhood. And they both smiled the entire time, too. If you don't believe in miracles, you should. I witnessed one on Friday! Praise Jesus! It might have taken a long time, but like Papaw said, "Lois is a very good forgiver." Ha! Indeed she is. |
