My Aunt Glenda and cousin Leslie came to town a couple days ago. It had been a year and a half since we last saw them and so much has changed. It was great to be reunited!
| Our first outing was to Klyde Warren Park. We took them to the top of the tree house and everyone admired the view of downtown. So cool! |
| Since we were last together, my sweet cousin has battled and beat breast cancer. She is such a rock star! And so beautiful, too. |
| These two monkeys have also changed quite a bit. Lila Lou isn't a baby anymore and J man is much more grown-up, too. |
| But probably the biggest change is that Baby Cameron is now in our family! |
| The park was bustling with kids and even though we had plans to go eat lunch, the girls couldn't resist taking off their shoes and running through the water. Before I knew it, Lila was soaked from the waist down. Oh well, at least she wasn't hot, right? |
| Cami was happy getting to visit with Aunt Glenda and enjoying the shade we found, too. |
J man convinced Gigi to take him to get a drink--they came back with a snow cone instead.
Oh dear! You can imagine how that played out with the girls. He was good sport, though, and shared with his mama and sister. |
| After we walked to El Fenix (Aunt Glenda and Jackson's fave!) and had a lunch that was muy delicioso, we made good on our promise and bought the girls their own snow cones. They were grinning from ear to ear. What a fun way to kick off our visit with our family. |
