Lila's Gym Birthday--Hip Hop Hooray!

The day was much anticipated, counted down and talked about non-stop.  And then it finally got here!  We had a great time at Golden Grip Gymnastics celebrating Lila's 4th birthday with all of her friends and family yesterday.

How can it be that my sweet baby girl is turning 4?!

After watching her brother win 22-1 earlier that day, these two were ready to tumble, flip and play.

Shortly thereafter their favorite cousin arrived!

Baby Cameron was napping when the party started, so it was just us 4.

All of Lila's grandparents, both uncles and one aunt were there to party with her.

For the first half hour, the kids just got to have free play in the gym.

I think it's safe to say that they loved it!

Our gymnast isn't afraid of heights one bit.

She showed her daddy how she can walk across the high beam...

and even take a flying leap off of it, too!

We got most of her friends rounded up for a group shot...

and then it was parachute time!

4 going on 14

We made a parachute house and got inside it...

which was a huge hit with all the kiddos.

Then the instructors asked the birthday girl to choose two friends...and she chose Jackson and Maddie!

The rest of us wrapped them up like a present with the parachute and then pulled it fast the other way to unwrap them really fast.  They loved it.

Cami woke up about halfway through the party and was pretty happy to just chill with her grandmas.

Then it was time for the high-flying swing!  All the kids sat on the beam to watch Lila go first.

She's come a long way from her first days on this trampoline.  She does this every Friday during her gym class and is such a pro at it now.

She got up there and busted out with a front flip...

followed by about 5 back flips!

Maddie had no problem soaring high, too, and did some flips of her own.

Long-legged Louie got a turn, and managed to get those gangly legs over a time or two!

Then it was birthday cake time!

All the kids got drinks and snacks first...

and then we sang Happy Birthday to her.

Happy Birthday, Lila Grace!

All of her guests got Cookie Medals to wear home from the party.  A delicous party favor created by her Aunt Lyndsie.

The birthday girl got a special one and her brother was pretty pumped about his, too.
Those cookies were the bomb!

We headed back home where the fun just didn't stop.  Lila got to open all of her presents and was just a little excited when she opened her twin American Dolls.

She was thrilled and smiling from ear to ear.

She got so many other neat presents, including this horse from Uncle Andrew and Aunt Maria...

and Toddler Cinderella and Prince Charming from Uncle Scott and Aunt Lyndsie.

One of her most fun gifts was this turquoise tutu, headband and sunglasses combo from Riley.
So cute!

After she opened all of her gifts, it was time to go get some dinner.  Of course, her twins had to come along with us, too.  Such a little mama!

Thank goodness she wasn't the only one with babies in tow.  Maddie had her twins with her, too, so we made it an all-skate to Country Burger and finished the fun day off with some good ole fashioned greasy burgers and fries.  Thank you so much to everyone who helped Lila have a fantastic party!  She loves you all.
