October 31, 2014. One of the biggest days of the year in the world of a child, and this one totally lived up to the hype.
| We began the day by taking our Rodeo Cowgirl to pre-school. She had put this cute costume together just the day before and we all loved it to pieces. It's so much more comfy than any of her princess dresses, which means it was perfect for school! |
| All of the teachers and staff dressed up, too. How fun! The 4 year old teachers wore matching costumes. Mrs. Rains was Silverlicious. So cute! |
| A few hours after we dropped her off, we were back just in time for the party. This girly was all smiles when her sister and I walked in the door. |
| They had yummy pumpkin muffins and scary spider snacks. |
| All of her classmates looked so cute, too. |
| Little sister sure wished that she could have had some of Lila's candy! |
| Next year, baby girl:) |
| While the big kids ate, Miss Cami was happy just rummaging through the candy bowl to her left. |
| She especially liked playing with the treat bags. |
| The kids played a few games, like this ring toss... |
| and just enjoyed getting to play with their friends. |
| The little monsters had a great afternoon! |
| Before we knew it, it was time to head home! Part 2 of the day was about to begin. |
| Baby Cami woke up from her nap and then got dressed as Tinkerbell! |
Her big sister had also taken a nap and was still snoozing at 4:40. We had to wake her up, but she didn't mind too much. She was thrilled to put on her other costume and before we knew it, Elsa was in the house!
| A few minutes later, Madison the White Witch arrived! |
| And all four grandparents made it, too. |
| They loved seeing Elsa... |
| the White Witch... |
| who flew around on her broomstick, |
| and tried to catch the Red Ninja Warrior! |
We did manage to catch them all before Meme went home. Tinkerbell applauded my efforts!
After that it was time to run over to a friend's house for their annual Halloween Bash.
Baby Tinkerbell was so excited!
Daddy was still in traffic, but the rest of us made it there in time for the kids to play with their friends. In about two seconds flat, the red ninja ran off to play football with his buddies.
| Lila said hi to her friend, Snow White, and Snow White's big sister, "Spy Mia." |
| Cami was a big hit with Annabelle and the Pink Ladies! |
| There were SO many kids! They all played really well with only a few minor injuries, and soon enough it was time to go trick-or-treating. All five of us started out, but very soon Cami told us it was time for her to eat dinner. I headed back to get the car and go home to feed her. On our way, we ran into Lila and Daddy. She was shivering cold and when I asked what she'd like to do, she opted for plan B, which was going home with me to give out our candy. |

The girls and I arrived home about 7:30, quickly lit up the first and only pumpkin I will ever carve, and then got ready for the trick-or-treaters. |
Turns out that Elsa is not only good at getting candy, she's also good and giving it out. She loved this just as much as going door-to-door, I think!
Our little monsters had a very happy Halloween and got enough candy to last us till the next one! |
