Triplets??

Everyone asks me who Cameron looks like.  I'll let you be the judge.

Cameron at 4 weeks...

look an awful lot like Miss Lila at the same age.

But wait, Cameron at 4 weeks...

also looks quite similar to another sweet baby we know!

He had a bigger head...

 and Lila had darker hair...

but all 3 are most definitely related!

One Month Old!

Somehow our little hootie owl is already a month old!

Top 10 facts about our littlest:
1.  She weighs about 10.5 lbs, no idea on height.
2.  She can track a toy with her eyes and is starting to make eye contact with us more.
3.  She often times has two modes: crying or asleep
4.  She takes a bottle like a champ!  I am so relieved.
Last night she drained a 5.5 oz bottle for my mom.  The girl is so hungry!
5.  She likes lots of naps during the day, especially in her carseat.
6.  She doesn't mind riding in the car one bit--such a nice change from her siblings;)
7.  She sleeps well on her back in a sleep sack at night.
8.  She likes to fall asleep with her paci.
9.  She's already wearing size 3 month clothes!
10.  She is loved more than she will ever know.

We celebrated this big day by going to her big brother's birthday party.

She got all dressed up for the big occasion and then proceeded to sleep like a little angel almost the entire time.  She only woke up to eat and then continued right on with her peaceful slumber.   Who knew the bowling alley and arcade with blasting music and lots of people was such an ideal place to take a nap?!

I love this outfit so much!  Guess it might have something to with the fact that I'm an old Garland Owl.  Hootie Hoo!

Will you be mine?

We hope everyone had a very happy heart day yesterday!  We sure do love us some valentines around here.  We started the celebrations a day early with a party at Lila's school.
Cameron stayed home with Gigi so that I could enjoy this fun time with my big girl.

She got to do crafts, play games and even got to decorate this yummy sugar cookie.

When we got home that afternoon, we got two really neat surprises.  The kids got goody bags from Gigi and then the doorbell rang and we received the prettiest red roses from Boom Pa!  We felt so very special!

Ha!  No worries, she did not get botox injections.  It's just her lip sucker:)

Valentine's Day began bright and early the next morning.  Lila woke up at 5:15 and was so excited that she just couldn't fall back asleep.  Good thing the mamacita had put out their gifts the night before!  They loved their books, treats and cards from us, Aunt Glenda and Papaw and Granny.  J man picked out his red Rangers shirt to wear and he and his daddy were out the door by 7am so they could make it to Donuts with Dad at school.

Lila loved her new jammies from Gigi and was doubly excited when she saw that they came with a matching gown for her baby doll.  Score!

A little while later, Daddy surprised us girls at home.  He walked in with a bouquet of flowers and met me as I was coming down the stairs.  Then he got down on one knee and asked me to be his valentine.  Love it.  Then he told us that he was off to work and left again.  But a minute later he was back in the house and had another bouquet of beautiful pink tulips.  He came up behind Lila, got down on his knee again and asked her if she would be his valentine, too.  Not gonna lie, I teared up a little bit.

She was over the moon with happiness and has not stopped talking about how much she loves her flowers! I hope he sets the bar really high for her and she always expects to be treated well by any boy vying for her love. So thankful she's got such a good daddy.

The kids had worked on making valentine's all week long. My very favorite is the one Lila made all by herself for Baby Cami.  It says "I love you Cameron" and she does.  Very much.

My sweet cousin Leslie had mailed Cameron this adorable Valentine onesie a few weeks ago.  I was so happy to see that it fit so well and Cami could be so festive all day that we just had to take a pic and send it to Leslie.  Thank you!

After a busy morning of gym for Lila, we had some very special visitors come over.  Papaw and Granny were both feeling good and were finally able to come see Baby Cameron! I visited with them for a few hours and then was off to Jackson's party at school.

He was all smiles the whole time, too!  He got to eat a cookie and play some games...

including a hershey kiss relay race, which he loved.

After we brought all of his loot home from school, our house looked like Cupid lived here!

We had baked cake balls for the grandprents and already delivered them, but we couldn't let the day get away without visiting Meme, too.  She was so happy to see us and I think our chocolates were a hit.  She was even a good sport about wearing bunny ears!

Snuggles with one of my loves!
We met Daddy at home for dinner and tried our darndest to have a special dinner catered by Pappadeaux.  But alas, it was not to be.  Cami cried the whole time, I had to feed her halfway thru the meal, when I finally got to my mahi mahi it was cold, and then the big kids just started running circles around the house.  Romantic it was not!  But it's real life.  And I still love all four of them more today than I did yesterday.

Before every sweet picture...

is a very goofy girl!  This little nut has me take double the amount of pictures these days because she  insists on doing a silly face before her real one.
You think rhinestones and a tutu makes her prim and proper?  Not a chance!

Sometimes she channels Sasha Fierce, I think!

And everyone knows that if you're gonna play football, you gotta get your game face on.

Even before bed time, this girl is still ready for some swashbuckling good fun.  "Argghh, mateys!"

As her teacher said, "Lila is the comedian in the class.  If she's at school, it's going to be a good day because she'll keep me laughing."  Never a dull moment with this little ham!

One sweet week

Hooray!  We made it through another week!
On Monday night, April, Cowen and Corbett brought us Fuzzy's Tacos for dinner.  We'd never had it and my, oh my, they were delicious!

A few nights later, Hayley came over with a ton of food from Babe's.  It was so good and we ate it for two nights straight.  Such good southern soul food!

After a really angry night in the bath, Cameron decided that it wasn't so bad afterall.

I'm pretty sure it was big sister who made it much more fun for her.

We've spent lots of time snuggling with mama...

and with big brother, too.  Melt. my. heart.

We've also had fun with Harley, Lila's class mascot who came home with her on Thursday and got to meet her little sister.

He has got to do lots of fun things with Lila, like go to gym class...

drink hot chocolate and eat cookies...

and watch her paint Cinderella.
But the best part of Harley's weekend was getting to go to Jump Zone for Riley's birthday party.  He and the kids had a blast and they even took him down the big slide!

We've seen that even though we try for hours at night to Cameron to go to sleep, if it's the middle of the day, she can pretty much fall asleep anywhere!

It's been a pretty sweet week, but then again, when you get to hang out with this cutie patootie, how could it not be?

Tutu Cute

What to do when it's 30 degrees and you're home all day with two precious little girls?
Put on hot pink tutus of course!
Today Cameron is 3 weeks old!  Happy 21 days, little girl.

The transition from 2 to 3 kids has gone really, really well.  Lila Lou is pleased as can be about having a real, live baby in our house 24/7.

She is such a fantabulous big sister.

Most of the time she's a sensible gal, but sometimes she can get a little daring!

We're gonna have to stop all that monkey business once this one gets old enough to start trying to copy her every move!

Mama and Baby Bear

It's not too often that the Mama gets to be in pictures with the littlest bear in our house, so on Sunday we just had to fix that!
Sometimes this baby bear is content as can be.
It's usually when she's snuggled in my arms, which I love!

We have already shared so many sweet moments and we are learning more about each other every day.  Her expressions say it all:

"Feed me!"

"Oh, no!"

"I like hanging out with you," which can very quickly turn into...

"I am so unhappy and you need to figure out why!"

I love you, sweet girl.  As one of our favorite books says: "I love you happy or sad, silly or mad.
I love you through and through.  Yesterday, today and tomorrow, too."  Always.
