As most of you know, we live in a pretty sports-centered family. Jackson is all boy, all the time, and loves any and all sports. He's really had such a fantastic Christmas break and been able to go see all kinds of games.
The weekend before school got out, he won two tickets to the Texas Legends basketball game at school. The game was on the same night as Jared's company party, so we asked Boom Pa if he would take him. And they had a great time! Turns out, it's the minor league for the Mavericks and they play at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco. They said the players were really good and the whole night was so entertaining with lots of contests and prizes being given out.
Next up, going back to the Dallas Sidekicks game. Jared and Jackson's Christmas presents from Uncle Scott and Aunt Lyndsie were tickets to the Sidekicks on December 27th. They had a ball and loved watching them beat the Tulsa Drillers. Thanks, Scott and Lyndsie!

| A few days later, the Michetti girls came into town from Houston. After playing soccer outside, we decided to take all 6 kids to Main Event for bowling. They had a blast doing bumper bowling! |
 |
| Then, on Saturday, January 4th, Jackson got invited to the TCU basketball game with Poppi, Memaw and Aunt Bina. Although they lost to West Virginia, the kid had a hot dog and was happy as could be. This lucky duck gets to go everywhere! |

| And the fun still wasn't over! Last night, he and his daddy went to the Mavericks game. Jared got two tickets for his birthday and was so happy to be able to take J to his first Mavs game. They had really good seats and cheered their hardest to help the Mavs beat the Knicks. Even though it didn't work out, the night was still a hit, especially since Jackson... |

got to meet the Mavs mascot! How cool is that?!
And now we are down to the last day of Christmas break. I'm hoping that seeing all his friends again will be enough to counteract the depression set in by the end of college bowl season and all these cool sporting events. At least he's still got the National Championship to watch tonight.
Go Tigers! |
