Crazy Cousin Weekend

Yesterday afternoon the Michetti girls rolled into town.  To say that Lila, Jackson and Madison were excited would be an understatement.  They waited at the front door for a half hour, stopping every now and then to argue about who should be the one to open the door, and then finally their cousins arrived!  They played for a few hours at my mom's --pinball, foosball, made bracelets, then soccer and tag outside.

After all that time at home, we decided to treat them to something even more fun--Main Event!  They had a blast bowling for an hour.  Bella (the 6 year old) was the clear winner and beat both of her older sisters and Jackson.  She could bowl really well!

Lila napped in the car for a little while, but then came in and got right to work.  Hannah was her main most helper and assisted her every time with getting her ball up on the ramp and pushing it down.  At one point Lila looked at me and said, "I can carry my own ball to the ramp."  And my little "big girl" did it the rest of the time just to prove she could.

After bowling was over, we headed to the arcade.  It's amazing how much entertainment $10 a kid can get you!

After all the kids had redeemed their prizes in the arcade, it was time for dinner.  We headed up 75 to the Cheesecake Factory, along with every other resident of Allen, Tx.  After waiting over an hour, we finally got our big table.  And I gotta say, the kids were AWESOME.  We celebrated Bella's birthday with an Oreo cheesecake.  Then her sister stole her cookie and things went downhill!  We all felt bad for the birthday girl, but she was smiling by the time we went home.  On another note--my pregnant self planned ahead and ordered a small dinner salad and crab cake bites so that I would have room for my own cheesecake.  I gotta say, the tuxedo cheesecake was fab, fab, fab and I was happy as a clam:)

This morning Maddie had lots of fans at her indoor soccer game.  She even scored her first goal of the season!  We were sad to see the Michetti's go home, but we are excited that they'll be back in town pretty soon.
