Family Style Weekend

I've always said that the busyness of October is as crazy as December.  It's full of sports and has plenty of other activities going as well.  The weekend before Halloween was jam-packed full, but our kids loved every minute.

When I picked Cami up from school that Friday afternoon, I was surprised to see that she was going to have their class mascots, Buffy and Buffy Jr., for the weekend.  What's a girl to do?  Bring them to the Halloween party, of course!

So many of Lila's friends were at Jailen and Jaiden's spooky Halloween bash.

Thank goodness Calley's little sister was also there.  She loves Cami so much!

There was so much going on, from a disco ball in the garage...

to dancing/play-fighting T-Rex's as well!

Then they showed a scary movie on the outdoor screen.  When the cartoon dog got run over, Cami got so sad, so we left.  Who shows a disturbing movie to little kids?!  I was sorta peeved.
The next morning, Cami had recovered and was ready for a soccer-filled morning.  She went to watch Lila first...

who played so well for the two little buffaloes!

This girl is a wall at defender!

After Lila's game, we raced to Jackson's.  He'd only been playing a few minutes before we had to run over to Cameron's field--thank goodness they were at the same park.  Coach Jared got the kids warmed up...

and then it was Superheroes time!

#12 was on fire!  She scored 8 goals!

My goodness, what a difference a season makes.
Between these two girls, they scored at least 12 goals.
All three teams won that morning, which doesn't happen too often.
Way to go, my little soccer babies!

Big brother had another game that next morning.

He scored at least 2 or 3 goals that time, one of them even being left-footed.  Yeehaw!

That afternoon, the Superheroes had another game, too.

With only 4 kids to start the game, they had just enough to play.  It was close for a while, but then they pulled out the victory.

We had to get movin, because Cami had two birthday parties to get to.  First up, Colby's was at Ninja Warrior...

Then home for a quick costume change and onto Dylan's Halloween-themed party.

Superman was pretty stoked that this lovely little dancer was there to celebrate with him!

Whew!  We even had a patio lunch with this sweet baby girl, too.

She's so loved by all!
