Day Two of our NYC adventure kicked off bright and early!
| This city has SO much to offer! We could easily have spent a few weeks there. But alas, we only had three days, so we made the most of every moment. |
| We had a quick breakfast at our hotel... |
| and were on the Subway by 9am. |
This was my little fashionista's first trip on the subway and she thought it was so fun! I loved it because it was warm! |
| After waiting in line to get on the ferry to go see the Statue of Liberty for 40 minutes, we simply gave up. We weren't even half way there and it was beyond cold. The temp was only 13 degrees with a windchill of 1. One degree!!! |
| This was as close as we got to Lady Liberty. Burrr! |
| After another long line at Starbucks, we finally had our hot chocolate. I got the Salted Caramel one and I gotta say, it was beyond fantastic. And warm! |
| Our next stop, One World Trade Center. |
They had closed the waterfalls at the 9/11 memorial due to the frigid weather. I'm sure it's normally a very beautiful sight. |
We made our way underneath One World Trade and found live music and a food court. These girls were just happy to be out of the cold. |
| A few hours later, we had finally made it to the 100th floor of the One World Trade Observatory. In case you're wondering, one hundred floors above the ground is pretty darn high! |
| Gorgeous views, though. |
| Next up, the Subway! |
| We tried going to Ellen's Stardust Diner, but the line was over an hour long, so we kept going and found Juniors. The number of people in NY is truly amazing! Even at 3:30, it was crazy packed everywhere. |
| That evening, we went to what has got to be one of the best shows on Broadway. Aladdin was beyond amazing! All of the actors and dancers are just so talented. |
We had really great seats and just loved every single minute of the show.
A full day in New York and so much more to look forward to the next day. |
