Happy 4th of July

We celebrated America's Birthday at home this year.

The kids all wore their cutest patriotic clothes and patiently waited for our guests to arrive.

This little firecracker is my best helper!

Gigi, Boom and Madison showed up before lunch and the kids immediately took them outside.

This day calls for being in the water--let's go!
The girls swam and then floated on our new island--so cool.

Jackson and Cami played with his newest toy.  I'm not sure who liked it more--both were squealing with delight.

We did it up right on the 4th.  Hot dogs, bacon dogs, baked beans, curly fries, grapes and red velvet cake for dessert.

This kid, my plain-Jane, even ate a bacon dog with cheese on it.  Toppings are so delicious!
After Glenda and Leslie had to head back to the airport, we decided to all try out the water.
Daddo sure liked the island!

We swam until dinner time and it was such a refreshing afternoon.  Well, as refreshing as it can be with four monkeys crawling all over you!
Such a fun holiday--sun, swimming and fireworks.
USA! USA! USA!
