Weekend at Home

It's been a good, long while since we've had a whole weekend at home with nothing much on the agenda.  And let me just say, it was NICE!  We did pretty mundane things, like water the flowers, play cards and cookout on Saturday night, but it was such a welcome change from the craziness that is our life most days.

Sunday morning we woke up bright and early and were ready for church by 8:20.  We usually aren't such eager beavers, but we had our eyes on the prize: The Original Pancake House.  Yum!  Lila chose her best winter outfit for the day and we were off for some biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs and of course, plenty of pancakes.

We ate so much that we pretty much skipped lunch.  It was Uncle Andrew's birthday and we met the fam for dinner at Celebration.  Aunt Lyndsie made the devinely delicious chocolate cake, which was the perfect ending to our meal.

Memaw snapped a few pics of our table.  I loved getting to sit next to my hubby.

These two rascals were pretty well behaved and loved being able to hang out in our own private room.
Happy Birthday, Andrew!  Welcome to your thirties!!
