Sunday Funday

Sunday we tried to be in the water as much as possible. It was pretty darn hot outside, so after church we headed over to Gigi's for some good swim time.

Much to the two munchkins liking, Gigi had some new swim gear for them. Flippers, goggles and snorkles! Jackson really reminded me of Scuba Steve.

Lila grabbed the big bubble wand and had fun just trapsing around with it unopened.

After splashing in the water for a while, she decided it was time to try out the slide. The girl is a big fan of playground slides so I was hoping that would be the case with the pool one.

Smiles all around! The girl loved it...

so we decided to take the plunge and go all the way down it!

Madison followed suit and got in her regular 25 times:)

Meanwhile, Scuba Steve puttered around the pool attempting to use all his new gear.

Then we finished off the afternoon with a little baby pool time.

After some good naps for most of us in the house, it was time to go over to Memaw and Poppy's for a cook out. Lila got in for a little bit, Madison did lots of jumping to Poppy and noodled around the pool, and Jackson played catch with Uncle Scott.

He was very intrigued when Uncle Andrew threw a pass to Uncle Scott and he caught it mid-jump over the pool. Oh the things he is going to learn from his uncles:) Thank goodness they don't still have their trampoline and can show him how they used to pull it over near the pool and jump in from it.

While the rest of the crew was still swimming, Uncle Andrew and Lila had a sweet little moment. I'm pretty sure she was telling him how much she likes his new girlfriend.
