Since all 8 of us had skied the day before, we had high hopes for Monday.
We took the lift up to mid-mountain and started from there.
Let's go ski team!
This half of the ski team got a bit impatient...
waiting on Cami and our gang to go through the tee-pees...
but this little girl got the hang of it and was zipping along after a bit.
Meanwhile, Gigi was doing so well!
"Put on your fast skis, Cam!"
After lunch, we did a little more intense skiing. It was a gorgeous afternoon and so warm!
Going to the mountain top.
This kid feels the need for speed on the slopes and is so much fun to ski with!
Look at that view!
While Jackson is pretty fast, Madison is almost always in the lead. She is turning out to be such an awesome skier.
Wide open spaces. There's nothing better.
We have probably been down this run 50 times, but never knew about this secret passage through the trees. I'm so glad that one of the ski instructors told us about it. You can ski inside...
and there are the cutest little birds living there! Jackson even brought them a cookie and they ate it. So cool!
We got so much good skiing in this day.
We had to make a hydration pitstop...
and then map out the rest of our afternoon.
More of this, please!
After skiing was over for the day, we had Happy Hour on the balcony...
and then got ready for dinner.
It felt good to get cleaned up!
I love these cousins...
and Jackson loves his version of a salad bar--bacon and shredded cheese!
The Ore House was delicious and the perfect way to end our evening. Day three of being on the slopes was just around the corner--stay tuned!
