Preciousness
My baby is 8 weeks old now! If it's possible, she has gotten even more precious. Of course, I'm not biased or anything. Just see for yourself...

Let's hit the pool!

Memorial Day Madness
The crew headed up to the lake this past weekend and had a blast. It was total chaos, don't get me wrong, but in a good sort of way! You know it's gonna be fun times when you start out with a hat like this...
It wasn't too long before we headed down to the lake...can you guess who loves a good golf cart ride?
The two munchkins were so ready for some fun in the sun
They started out by making sand castles, which was really more Jackson making the castle and Madison supervising. She was more concerned about staying properly hydrated.
Then the real test came--getting in the water. Great news! Both kids loved the water this year! Hallelujah! Last year we were so very disappointed when we got all the way over to the beach and Jackson wanted nothing to do with it.
This year both kids loved it--here's Maddie doing her favorite water activity...floating:) She did this for 20 minutes at a time!
Little Lila couldn't go for boat rides just yet, but she enjoyed being held by everyone. Aunt Glenda got some Lila time, but Gigi probably had the most!
Papaw's birthday was Sunday so he and Sharron came up for a celebration.
After we sang happy birthday to him I snapped a few more pics. I think this one is so sweet of J with his Gigi.
And this is pretty cute of Lila with her great grandpa.
After lunch it was time to hit the water again. We had two baby pools blown up at the house and the kids loved them. Jackson really liked how the dinosaur could spray everyone. Look out Maddie!

The best
Jackson and Lila have the best uncles. Really. These guys are so good with them. They play soccer, T-ball and Frisbee with Jackson and go along with all of this other antics as well. This was the first weekend that Lila met her Uncle Scott.
Big Bro didn't want to miss a beat either, so he jumped in for a quick pic.
Uncle Andrew just moved back to town and Jackson has LOVED having him around. Miss Lila is already a big fan.
After both Uncles had their turns holding Lila, Jackson had his turn. This usually lasts about 30 seconds and then he hollers "done!" It's a good idea to be near because he hops down shortly thereafter and runs off to do something else. Hard to believe that pretty soon Lila will be running right behind him.

Last Day of School
Today was Jackson's last day of school. He had a fun-filled day in store and was ready to get there this morning. They had a petting zoo, bounce houses and McDonalds for lunch. Pretty much a dream day for kiddos!
Posing for me before he went to school this morning. He insisted that baby sister also be in the picture:)

Roadtrip to Houston
Uncle Andrew graduated from Law School this past weekend, so we packed up the car and headed down to Houston for the big occassion. The kids did fantastic and were such awesome little road warriors!! We stayed with our friends Danny and Kelly, who were sweet enough to take us all in.
Then big brother wanted to jump in for some pics.
This is such a new thing--he wants to be in the picture, smiles for the camera and kind of poses for it, too:)
We ate at Lupe Tortilla and it was Miss Lila's first time at a restuarant. As you can see, she thought it was a great time to take a nap.
I asked J to get in a pic with Kelly and Danny. He ran over there but had to have a little space in between them for some reason. Their friendship had yet to be solidified by games of hide and seek and soccer.
Lupe Tortilla had a really big kids play area complete with sand. I didn't think we were ever going to get Jackson out of there. Afterall, he was super busy building his first sand castle.
Somehow we lured him away, though, and got this pic of the Hays Fam after dinner.
When we got back to Danny and Kelly's house that night the games began. Hide and Seek was the chosen game and all of the adults took turns looking for Jackson. He cracked us up because he was such a good hider. He never made a peep. This time I guess he thought that if he hid his eyes no one could see him. He stayed like this a good 5 minutes! Too funny.
The next morning we got up and went over to Carol and Rob's house for some more visits. Jared was the only one who actually attended the graduation ceremony that day. The rest of us stayed and played at their casa.
I put on Lila's UT bloomers just for Carol so we had to get a picture with them in it. It was so fun seeing all our friends and we are very excited for Andrew and his big accomplishment!
Way to go Uncle Andy!
