We arrived home with Lila on Saturday afternoon and a mere 24 hours later, were headed back to Sky Ranch with Jackson. All the cars were decorated and the boys were ready to go!
| "I'm with the band!" |
| These lucky boys hit the jackpot with their cabin. It was right on the lake with this view. |
| Jackson shared a bunk with Blake. Since this wasn't our first rodeo, we knew just what to do. |
| The girls and I gave Jackson a giant hug goodbye and wished him the best week. |
| A few hours later, we found his cabin on the Sky Ranch website. Lookin' good in their wigs! |
| We continued to watch his activities throughout the week and sent him emails every day. |
| Water basketball... |
| days at the lake... |
| paddleboarding... |
| and hanging out with friends. He always had a smile on his face. |
| Getting ready for the vertical playground... |
| climbing to the top of the telephone pole and then jumping off. So cool! |
| In the meantime, we weren't home twiddling our thumbs. I took this big group to the lake. Lila invited three friends, Maddie invited two, and Cameron was my "plus one." |
| This kid--you can't help but love her! |
| We spent the entire afternoon on the lake. These girls can never get enough of the inner tube. Thank goodness my dad was there to share driving duties with me. |
| Even though we had a boat-full, they were all so sweet and well-behaved. Love this group! |
| I cooked dinner that night and then the girls played kickball... |
| and ate popsicles on the back porch. |
| A few days later, we were back at camp picking up Bubba! |
| His three counselors all had the very best things to say about him. They praised his leadership and faith in God, and thanked him for being such a good kid all week. |
His daddy and I were so very proud of him and his "Torch Bearer" Award!
Way to go, Jackson! Keep shining bright! |
