Fab Friday

New School, Great Wolf and a sleepover--last Friday is going to be tough to top.
We started out by going to meet Cami's teacher for this year.

Before we got to her room, we had to make a pit-stop to visit the fish.  Such a great idea to have a fish tank at a pre-school. Kids love it!
The first thing that caught her eye was this cool purple sand.  How fun!  She checked out the babies, books and home areas and approved of each.
She even got to help Mrs. Ward feed the class fish, Swimmy.  Now that's a great start.

She liked her new school so much that she ran over and gave me a big hug goodbye.  When I told her that she couldn't stay that day, she got sad.  Tuesday couldn't get here fast enough for this brave girl.  She's so ready.
A few hours later, we picked up Bubba early from school.  He had been invited as Cole's guest  at Great Wolf Lodge.  It was Cole's big birthday present for his 10th birthday.
I'm sure the boys wasted no time and were at the indoor water park in record time.
They LOVE this place.

Meanwhile, we were having a girls night at our house.  Lila invited Madi and Brooklyn for a sleepover that evening.

Everyone was so happy!  Yay for the weekend and good friends!

All the girls tried surfing on this turtle.  Go Lila!

We enjoyed our night at home...

and after our spaghetti dinner, the girls had ice cream.  Happiness in a bowl (or cone!).

Meanwhile, the boys lived it up at Great Wolf.
They really got into Magic Quest this time...

rode lots of rides...

and of course, got a kick out of sleeping in the Wolf Den.

Maybe going back to school doesn't mean the good times are over!
